True North Commercial Real Estate Investment Trust (the REIT) is a Canada-based unincorporated, open-ended real estate investment trust. The REIT is primarily focused on creating value for unitholders through the investment in and ownership of commercial properties in Canada. The REIT’s primary objective is to maximize total returns to its unitholders. Its returns include a stable, reliable, and tax-efficient monthly cash distribution as well as long-term appreciation in the value of its units through the effective management of a portfolio of commercial properties. The REIT owns and operates a portfolio of about 40 properties consisting of approximately 4.6 million square feet in urban and select strategic secondary markets across Canada focusing on long-term leases with government and credit-rated tenants. RE:RE:RE:RE:TNTI disagree I owned  all of these for a long time and never see this  happen  other than when the covid first hit and it was brutal (2020) this latest dive is all to do with the uncertainty caused by the latest covid varient;;

There are a numnber of reasons the sector is taking a beating and this happens every year at this time.
Firms/people are pressuring the price lower for end-of year activities.

COVID is also contributing to people selling since they think office space needs will be far less a requirement than pre-COVID.
The diffference I see though, is that TNT caters to large companies, banking, and Gov. All these sectors do still need people to gather in an office environment, so although it's in a sector that is shrinking, it's chances of remaining stable and even growing are far better than those catering to renting out mall space (as an example).
