RE:RE:thoughts please?thanks Catch.  am happy to pay tax on capital gains if there really is a capital gain.  by saying "phantom" do you mean you expect SP will be almost the same after consolidation as it is now - as if we are only ahead the $0.32 cash?  to simplify - assume ax is held in an RSP.
