RE:RE:RE:Re: Sell-offGood mornign all,
Just for clarity, Q1 for this year closed already and is due out the end of this month. We do not know when the 3 contracts listed were booked but could be Q1 or Q2 revenues.
Hopeful for a bang of a start in Q1 that sets a tone. Q!1/2 were typically weaker in prior days of GSI going years back. But have been growing well. Lumpy quarters should be a thing of the past foe 2022 and foward but end of the month will tell a lot.
I do agree with Fergus though, it is show me time. DD and GSI need to stop talking about a robust sales funnel and just start posting contract wins.
The funnel was at 70 million prior to AGMm then at AGM mentioned as 100 Million. I beleive GSI feels they can win 50% of the funnel pretty easy just timing. BUT, again, just start posting/showing the wins.......
The OEM contract from Bluebird and IC bus do validate the OEM partnership made a while back and shows its success. No sales team and marketing meeting needed.
Septa still has the 30 million EOI that was posted and closed alsmot 2 years ago now sitting parked for upgrades to all rubber tored vehicles. But, again, zero news and the tea leaves are a tad dry to speculate. GSI is a community partner so its time to monitor the SETPA board agendas again with the new fundings from fed/state levels.
No clue where the other 70 million is form but it would be interesting to see a new transit body in the works. NY State transit was loking for upgrades at one point and run the same platform as SPETA for their cameras. Again, its a big fish and has lots of eyes on something that size. larger competitors may have one out there as i believe that was a 70 million dollar play. GSI may be viewed as to small for a contract that size but who knows.
Again, SHOW the goods or just stop pontificating. As i will stop now. Been a long 9 years waiting....
Best to all,
James.
thelostarc wrote: Absolutely! It is time for DD and company to show contract flow. It is one thing to keep cards close close to the chest, it is another to keep shareholders in the dark. Announcements like today's C$230k contract is the right approach and format to take to balance both. Tell us you won a contract, tell us whether it is with a new or existing customer and tell us the amount. No need to divulge who, what, when, where, why and how.
I hope the company will continue to be active in engaging shareholders through contract updates. It is great to see Gatekeeper jumping out of the gates in 2022. 11 days, ~C$500k in contracts. At this rate, we will have $18MM revenue for the year on small contracts alone. Add a couple transit system deals on top, revenue can easily surpass $30MM.
I'm cheering for team Gatekeeper. Let's keep up the good work! Let's keep closing!
