Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:RE:CEO is a gambler & needs to be controlled.

I should of made clear that I agree that debt needs to. Be paid down.  This in the long run will do more for us share holders than the divvy.

I am not accusing the CEO of being a gambler.  You do what you think is the next right thing.  Bring a leader is a lonely place.   Bottom line is we are still standing and there were lots of so called leaders who went broke.

So let's remember this.  He navigated through the worst time in the history of oil.

I am about debt being paid down not off.  You need to borrow money to make money.  I just want to see us be bullet proof first.   I am sure this makes sense to all of you.   If this was your house would you buy a car right now.  Or would you pay down your higher Debt first

I guess that depends on your car but it also speaks to your longer view and your discipline.

I am very happy for all of you.  It's been a good little run here and I believe it's the beginning!
