RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Averaging down...It would seem that the thought of investing in a company for 10 to 20 years is giving you an allergic reaction.
To be honest, the green tidal wave is a 20 to 40 year wave. If GDNP is going to grow into a market leader, that is a market share leader, it will need time.
Sure, it can be bought out by a big player like TetraPak or WinPak... it could even be bought out tomorrow morning. That wouldn't do you and I very much good. What's better is to hold on, let management get to work. Even if Paul runs the company until 2030, then sits back as the chairman and hires a new CEO to do the groundwork, that is still fine. It would be a shame though to see this company go for $5 when it has the potential to eat up marketshare and go to $50 in the long long long term (as you say).
In 20 years, it could probably start buybacks. Perhaps I'm naive given that I'm 33 years old. I would be keen on holding this company until it disperses cash to shareholders, buybacks or dividends. Keen to hold until it is revenuing $5Bn per year and generating $500MM free cash flow! Perhaps Good Natured will be the one doing bigger and bigger acquisitions.
Go GDNP!
