RE:Anyone home?

RE:Anyone home?
Have to be constantly in the loop with BC Hydro and aware of future industrial projects in the NW region.

BC Hydro (BCH)has plans also for new/upgrades to electricity transmission lines. 287kv transmission line here and there. They have to know about future demand.

Does BCH bring in a new line 600km from Prince George costing billions, or source supply from regional wind farms.

Enbridge purchase of the rights to Pacific Trail Pipeline. What rumors are out there?

What's up with Kitimat LNG? Maybe Pembina Oil may take a look. Their Jordan Cove LNG project in Oregon was canceled.

Are there any plans for green/blue nitrogen/ammonia/methanol projects for the Kitimat area?

Fertilizer projects. What happened to the recent plan for a $15 billion project, fully electric and nitrogen from green sources?

Hydro Quebec for example is developing innovative projects.. Can BC Hydro or the private sector do the same?--Hydro-Qubec to operate one of the world’s most powerful electrolyzers to produce ... | Hydro-Qubec (hydroquebec.com)

LNG Canada Phase Two. What's the probability of the expansion going ahead. Should it be electrified with grid power, given all the climate change awareness going around.

Funding could be the issue for some projects and have to make critical assumptions about future LNG demand and prices for many years in advance.

Before Northland can secure an EPA, a lot of forward thought will be required and BC Hydro's plans for the region. The Hecate project has to use BC Hydro's grid system and for backup power.

So what can Oceanic's CEO really say? Most of the stuff is confidential. At best can say, Northland is still on board trying to move the project forward. The Haida and a few other First Nations will have input also.
