I do smell the threat of war on the horizon ..and that threat usually helps drive up oil. Seems the Asia Pacific markets are currently bidding up oil slightly.. After Powell speaks Wednesday, I think there could be some buying, particulalry on the NA indicies ..that's a prediction that goes against a lot of network talking heads, but I think the big lads have been sitting on some cash.
If a greater market correction is to happen in the coming days/weeks, overall markets could be choppy through Q2, but the underlaying drivers of WTI will remain bullish IMHO and be magnifed as we head through this year.
One driver that can be lost is exploration droped massively since 2015 to present day, yet demand steadily grew and continues. That gets overlooked but is a massive factor to where oil is and where its going.
