RE:Class-action suit looms as fee hikes anger lawyersWe have literally heard from every law firm in the Edmonton region and there are many very upset lawyers. As in EVERY SINGLE firm and real estate lawyer is upset. Dye and Durham has ruffled feathers and will not come out ahead with this type of act. There are other options for legal software, and the real estate transactions are in a very competitive market with tight margins. As competitor firms switch to cheaper alternatives, we are left with literally no choice but to search for cheaper alternatives. D&D has forced us into this. If D&D does not react very very quick, I am nearly certain that a mass exodus is pending....and good luck bringing the business back.
Also, the last price increase to $100 in 2021 prompted many firms to start developing their own software for competitive reasons. The race is on to sever ties with D&D.
D&D investors should contact investor relations to ask what the reaction in the legal community is like and ask for an explanation of why they are ruining decade long relationships with DO Process/ESIlaw.
