No more can kicking

No more can kickingWe have reached the end of the road.  The can cannot be kicked any further.  The Fed cannot create another bubble to replace the current global finance bubble.  And the Fed's attempts to control inflation will fail because they do not control the factors that are causing inflation : the virus, labor shortages, supply chain bottlenecks, climate change, government spending, geopollitical events.  And if Russia invades Ukraine, which seems highly likely within the next week, we will be paying $6/gal for gas.  That is enough of a shick to send the economy into a recession which can morph into a global depression due to the tremendous amount of debt.  I fully expect the Fed will be forced to implement another round of QE in a futile attempt to save the economy.  The Fed has created a real mess and we will all pay for their recklessness.  I agree with Doug Noland that we are one serious catalyst away from a megaquake and I think a Russian invasion of Ukraine is that catalyst: Noland: Existing Global Order Is "One Serious Catalyst Away From A Megaquake" | ZeroHedge

xcerpts:
This is it. Nearing the end of the road. There’s no fledging Bubble waiting to heroically save the day this time around.

In sum, the existing global order appears one serious catalyst away from a megaquake.
