What Crux and many others don’t know…....is that if there is any doubt of the support in Yellowknife for a mining project ....get over it.....Yellowknife is struggling and at same time working hard to find a solution to revitalization. There is only one solution and it revolves around mining and everything related. Back in the 80s and early 90s and before giant and con closed operations, this town was a beehive of activity and we long for those days and they will only came from the mining activity in YK and beyond. As I look back it was all tied to what was happening in the mining world......believe me, we will welcome this development with open arms
the potential to have a world class project here once again will be well received as it is key to our future of getting back on the map on many fronts and literally key to revitalize the city and surrounding FN communities. The crux comments on how will the town respond are well placed but need to be taken in context of what will we do if we don't have a Gold Terra? The answer to that is simply slowly rot as has been happening.
Gerald comes to town as a guest, yes that's true, but as a welcomed guest.....those of us who pay the bills in this town know what this town needs and what YGT brings. Hands down 100% sure what ever opposition there may be it is small and very easily overcome with the benefits.
