Ashram, did you try to read the news release before asking that question? It's .21 Australian, which I guess is closer to .195 Canadian. Do please correct me if I got it wrong. Unfortunately it's normal for small-cap companies to be forced to issue shares at a discount to the current share price, especially when they have not been generating a lot of momentum lately. So it's a bit of chicken and egg problem. Actually I would say the raise price is not bad at all, considering the share price was only .16 just a month ago.
I believe they will actually use the money for drilling as promised (unlike some zombie companies out there), so this could turn out to be a turning point for SWA's next move up.
(Full disclosure, it happens that I sold my small holding of SWA a few days ago, expecting that the spike in the gold price would not last. However I will be looking to get back in.)
