Similar to a DRIP

Similar to a DRIPI just found out about reinvesting dividends for companys which do not have DRIP plans.
It was news to me.
I like it.
I am with Scotia iTrade but I would think most investment houses have the same option as well.
Although the current dividend is hardly exciting it is more than most CICs and has the stock increase potential which I believe is enormous with TVE in addition to buybacks and dividend increases.

Any here is the response when I inquired about dividends:

Thank you for contacting Scotia iTRADE. My name is Megan and I am glad to
assist your DPP/DRIP inquiry.

I have enrolled your stock TVE in DPP plan. Going forward, you can enroll a
stock in DPP/DRIP plan by clicking the drop down menu on the right hand side of
the stock. It will provide you the option to get enrolled at the bottom of the
list.

Please be advised that TVE is only available for DPP plan. Dividend Purchase
Plan (DPP) offers similar benefits as a DRIP, but is available for the shares
of dividend-paying companies where:

?A corporate sponsored DRIP is not offered, but a cash dividend is paid or

?Offer a DRIP but doesn't offer a discount on  reinvestment

I trust my response finds you well and resolves your inquiry..
