RE:RE:buy with 12.30 targetThank you, Braindead - but you give me too much credit. Sadly, Experience is a tough master...and I have learned the hard way (repeatedly)!
Something that I have been watching here ifor some time is the endless clamour for a NR on a Tuesday or a Wednesday (and yes...I get it...Mondays are figured to be a day where folks are asleep at the wheel - Fridays folks are heading for the cottage (so, traditionally, that's when news of a less spectacular nature is relleased)). Makes for a short window...doesn't it? And we are naive enough to think THEY don't know this - and act accordingly? Those playing at that level have trading desks in each of the three major trading zones...so it is a 24 hour "rinse and repeat" cycle for them...nothing personal - just business.
How many times have you checked into Kitco at 3am on a Tues/Wed/Thurs? Like clockwork, that's when the POG gets hammered. Makes it very tough on the department within a company responsible for releasing results to gamble on doing so into such an environment (I am sure the phones are buzzing with senior mgmt. by about 4...as that is typically when the NRs are posted). Most companies don't have the wealth of pending assays that NFG does...so they delay the release. What a game!
Sorry to go on here - this is the preamble to my point. IF, ultimately, the current POG means little to Junior Explorers...then why would NFG sweat it? Those that are clamouring are already in the choir...and are ready. What they want/need is a justification to buy a few more of their rising Tier 1 asset. The momentum players - the day traders - et al will follow (particularly on a day like today...or last Tues/Wed or before). Sounds a bit cavalier? Look what is being done to us!
Enough of my rant...I'll shut up now. I'm prepared for flak.
Best to all longs.

to get there. Talk is cheap, you all know that. There are some who have a target of $ 4.00 too. What the heck are you going to do with that one? Ignore it, of course. Oh my, the stock market game rears it's ugly head and influences us often to our own detriment with wishful thinking.
Come on Eldrico, chime in, lol! You have experience to share.
