RE:Whitecap share buyback. Great job team!
Welcome aboard BSW, as a Whitecap & Baytex shareholder I wish too say to the WCP board to follow your posts, they give a great insight and real time factual data as witnessed on the BTE board. Hopefully Mr.Ed, as I refer to him as the CEO of Baytex ,would take some pointers from Grant Fagerheim, CEO of Whitecap resources. What if WCP & BTE merged? They would certainly be a major player in Canada, with over 200,000 bpde. Arc resources did it with 7 generations, now they're a 350,000 bpde producer. Either way, Grant is always on the hunt for new opportunities to grow, he fully understands that he needs to reduce the float and at the same time to produce more for less. I can't say how long this will last, nobody can really, this current energy pricing is all gravy, what they do with the gravy is the main focus. Stay strong and calm, patience will be rewarded.
