Bumpy year

Bumpy year
It has been a difficult and not particularly rewarding few quarters for AXU shareholders.
That is not to say the company did not face realistic challenges under an historically unique year globally, most especially in the Yukon.
That is not to excuse them of their performance but realistically it must be acknowledged they are attempting to become a producer for the first time during a medical freak show.
However,Alexco did manage to produce 4.7 million pounds of lead,1.7 million pounds of zinc and 621,000 oz of silver concentrates last year.
Alexco are finally nearing full production and have been in limited production for well over a year now.
It's been rough to be an actual shareholder holding negative equity so I find it interesting to read a tale on this board from a non-shareholder about another company that told another fairy tale of renewed production at Keno Hill some thirty-three years ago.

UKHM ceased operations in 1989.
The Yukon and Federal governments then took responsibility for the district.
The Federal Govt. declared the site abandoned in 2001.

Alexco purchased the district in 2006 to reclaim the environmental damages and have been successful as reclaimation stewards/operators ever since.
That is all public knowledge up on Alexco's site.
