Governments are already making record profits, and are making money off of both sides lobbying them. Big pharma, big Tabacco, private banks and private jails are all lobbying against decriminalization. Take a look who has been donating to schumer. Like all politicians they lie. All we will see is political theatre while the hedge funds continue fleecing retailers, who are emotionally invested and do not understand the core root of business in the political landscape. Money talks and government is enjoying its monopoly.
