RE:Think out of the boxNot really. The "clean up" of Cobalt and the surounding areas is a big challenge. ALL of the companies that made the money, from mining the ore, and creating, then abandoning the environmental wasteland , are long gone. The legacy issues live on. The MNR would also have to bencome involved. FCC/ELBM kinda went down that road already, and shortly after pivoted away from mining and reclaimation. There is also the notion that the grade of many of these "waste rock" piles, may not be economically feasible. To disturb these old piles in the hopes of reprocessing them, is a much more comlicated task than you might imagine. Additionally, FCC/ELBM pretty much had the entire Cobalt Camp inder their management, looking for cobalt, and probably believing they could do what it is you are suggesting. And then they wrote the entire 3 years of work, roughly $40,000,000 off, and sold their remaining holdings to kuya for some shares and a little EX spend. So, yeah...did that light just get turned back off? Not so out of the box afterall.
