This is precisely why I have stated that SEC won't even look at Peak until earnings release, where accounting is done to the higher standard (from SECs point of view). And just because fraud happens on both sides of the ocean, doesn't change the fact that accounting issues are much more frequent in China than in USA/Canada; therefore with every day that SEC delays the process, the credibility of the company, including its earnings releases, falls a bit further. Every single day that their expansion to Canada that was 'just a month away' in September doesn't happen, the risk for investors rises. Remember, SECs mission is to determine whether it is safe for investors to invest in Peak, or whether for the good of investors, Peak should not be allowed to trade on big-boy American exchanges. Right now SEC is clearly not convinced that Peak is safe to invest in, and when it comes to that, SEC should be listened to, not anonymous poster on some board.
