Sorry I no longer follow Oil & Gas as a sector, but the natural gas price looks to be a better speculation than oil from my perspective. Europe heats on Russian natural gas. So they have to replace that with most likely American LNG tankers. There are many American companies that are heavy on gas light on oil, Gulfport & Comstock come to mind. The dot.com crash started in the summer of 1999, but few took notice. It wasn't until around January 2000 that the crowd realized this is a real crash shaping up, & wasn't over until spring 2001. It was like a slow motion train crash because 1 tech stock would get clobbered while the others went unscathed, for awhile. I eat, sleep, & breathe mining & that's all, I haven't traded oil & gas since 2020. Good luck I am just an observer not an expert.
