Electra Battery Materials Corporation is a Canada-based processor of low-carbon, ethically sourced battery materials. The Company is focused on building a supply of cobalt, nickel and recycled battery materials. It is engaged in the business of battery materials refining, including refining material from mining operations and from the recycling of battery scrap and end of life batteries. It owns two main assets: the refinery located in Ontario, Canada and the Iron Creek cobalt-copper project located in Idaho, United States. Its projects include Ontario Refinery, Recycling, Becancour, North American Nickel and Iron Creek. It is in the process of constructing its expanded hydrometallurgical cobalt refinery, assessing the various optimizations and modular growth scenarios for a recycled battery material (known as black mass) program, and exploring and developing its mineral properties. The Iron Creek Project consists of mining patents and exploration claims over an area of 3,300 hectares.

What is currently being “reflected on” are, so to speak, logical developments in the overall market that have nothing specifically to do with ELBM. However, such are in the nature of the financial markets and are sometimes also a necessary evil. If the markets continue to crash, and that happens again and again, everyone is challenged.

I don't want to go into detail about the individual factors, as they are already known.

I can't imagine "that EV thing" breaking. The humanity certainly has no chance if it does not want to destroy Mother Earth. If you've been to countries like India, China and many others in Asia, you know why many people there are literally running out of breath! The same will likely apply to many other metropolitan areas around the world. It is true that one could have reacted earlier to the immense demand for electricity. But that's happening now anyway.
