RE:RE:Thanks Biden So much of the US is now based on marketing
Some of the most valuable companies are those that sell advertising. Aka companies that sell the ability to change how you think - Facebook, Google etc
Others are hybrids - selling products and how you should think - Tesla etc
Tesla just reported its automotive margin at 32.9% - nearly double that of regular car manufacturers like Toyota, ford, gm etc That's a massive margin for a mass produced product - achievable only by making some consumers think it's better than the rest
This so called New Economy is based on consumer deception
The normal free market economy is about making a better widget for less and out competing your competition
The new economy calls this the old economy in Orwellian New Speak.
In truth the Old Economy is the real economy
Oil is the real economy. New economy companies use deception to advance their own sales - Tesla cars, windmills, solar panels etc
The truth can be hidden or distorted, but it doesn't go away
The truth is that the real economy runs on oil and other carbon bond energy. The stability, mobility, and energy density of a carbon bond is superior and cheaper than all alternatives,
That truth has been hidden by the New economy superstars. They deceived the free market to misallocate financial resources to themselves.
The truth can be disguised but it doesn't go away. It keeps going until it can be hidden no longer
That's happening now. Products consumers want are not available for purchase - car parts, cars and trucks on dealer lots, all the way down to things like light fixtures and shoes.
Gasoline, deisel, fertilizer etc are all part of the real economy that are drying up because consumers have been deceived into think they don't need them any more
Biden is the leader chosen by the new economy to facilitate their deception
Their big lie is reaching its limit and the truth is starting to spill out into the open for all to see.
New economy companies are starting to loose their value. The free market failures they caused are becoming too big to hide.
The free market is starting to reveal the emperor has no clothes
There may be more nasty adjustments ahead as free market forces cause an economic earthquake to realine truth and reality
It's hard to know where to stand when the tectonic plates of truth and economic reality snap back into alignment. It's an economic eatthquake.
It may also be followed by after shocks
I've chosen to stand in a small, undervalued oil company run by financial experts, protected by giant tax pools. Time will tell if it was the right choice
