Higher-grade intercepts & expanded gold mineralization @ CC More solid news from Sonoro Gold ($SGO.v $SMOFF), this time reporting additional assay results from 10 drill holes with higher-grade intercepts and expanded gold mineralization at the Cerro Caliche Gold Project!
Highlights:
- 10.67 meters averaging 1.183 g/t Au
- 1.52m averaging 9.57 g/t Au
- 28.95m averaging 1.021 g/t Au
- 3.04m averaging 1.523 g/t Au
- 4.57m averaging 1.087 g/t Au
Results from 7 additional drill holes are still pending and will be announced next month, marking the end of the Phase IV drill program which has proved to be successful.
The data from this drill campaign will be included in an updated resource estimate scheduled to be announced in summer 2022. The updated technical report will assess the potential economic impact of the new drilling data on the proposed heap leach mining operation.
These results demonstrate resource growth potential near surface and at depth, as well as indicate continued expansion of mineralized gold zones outside of the pit shells used in the resource estimate for the initial PEA
