We did the selling of our long term position in late 2020/2021 and made a fantastic totoal profit of $151.2k.. After that, I did 12 short term trades, one of which I got stuck in at a $42.25 buy price. It did eventually recover in mid-Mar so I bailed and decided that was the end of my NPI short term trade career. 

I've been using that trading money on others that we also own for the long term (as that is what I know best)

Totally agree with your assessment, I sold down a majority of my position, but held on a small amount just in case it kept creeping up close to the $44-45 mark (never did, foolish me).
