RE:RE:debenture conversion The debenture holders, including Edwards lent the company real cash when the shares were trading in the 50 cent range and most people were predicting the company would go broke completely. They could have bought up all of the companies shares at 50 cents and taken the company private. That would have massively screwed the rest of the shareholders. Yes, it is a very good thing to have someone with principles and deep pockets owning a big chunk of this company. If it wasn't for Edwards as a key player, I would not mess with ESI at all.
