RE:RE:RE:RE:BYD is the first OEM domino to fall in mine buyingThe only thing that will drive down prices is new supply coming on line. You are mistaken if you think anyone can create headlines and the price will go down. Those mines in Africa will be turned into producing assets and all of that is going to fuel China's EV industry. I have no idea why you think it is just window dressing. My point from the beginning is that this is great news as it puts pressure on North American OEM. Which is great for Cypress shareholders.
I have little doubt that this project gets turned into a mine. It could come any number of ways. Offtake agreements, JV partner, low intrest government loans, or all of the above. Bottom line this project is setting up to land in the sweet spot and SP could boom in very quick fashion. As far as this mngt. team getting it done I am not concerned. They have moved this project along step by step and are just a few weeks away from announcing production of a final product. They have been hitting the conference circiut heavily and have one more stop in New York this week coming back from the Swiss conference. Once back in Nevada I expect them to put the final touches on the annoucement we all have been waiting for.
The women they brought in to head up the company has strong ties in the state of NV and has already played a part in getting a mine into production with Nevada Copper in Yerrington. I get that some shareholders get tired of waiting but these things take time and Cypress is moving at a good clip. By end of 2022 this will be at BFS level with the applications for govt. funding and permitting started. If you have such little faith in the mngt. then sell.
