Electra Battery Materials Corporation is a Canada-based processor of low-carbon, ethically sourced battery materials. The Company is focused on building a supply of cobalt, nickel and recycled battery materials. It is engaged in the business of battery materials refining, including refining material from mining operations and from the recycling of battery scrap and end of life batteries. It owns two main assets: the refinery located in Ontario, Canada and the Iron Creek cobalt-copper project located in Idaho, United States. Its projects include Ontario Refinery, Recycling, Becancour, North American Nickel and Iron Creek. It is in the process of constructing its expanded hydrometallurgical cobalt refinery, assessing the various optimizations and modular growth scenarios for a recycled battery material (known as black mass) program, and exploring and developing its mineral properties. The Iron Creek Project consists of mining patents and exploration claims over an area of 3,300 hectares.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:News BitesAny feasibility study or estimate is assumed until confirmed in the market (contract awarded). Could the company have been more conservative...sure! But no company lives that way and nobody wanted to forecast 8-10% inflation in any study. Criticize my view all you want but saying hard estimate fixed price means nothing. You have an assumed amount (estimate) that is carried until contract is awarded (fixed or cost re imbursable). If you want to squeeze supplier's goodluck with the finished product. At the end of the day you pay either way and any major company will foot the delta upfront than pay for poor performance. You are assuming the cost increases are only related to long lead time items? I bring up valid arguments and you resort to lame insults...who is the one without shoes. Let's stick to the company discussion
