RE:RE:New Found Intercepts 89.5 g/t Au Over 2.00m in New "Tuesday"megacopper wrote: More great news. That is 3 ounces of gold per ton over mineable widths. I don't think investors realize just how significant these type of intersections are and what they mean to the overall economics of the project. To put this in perspective the Swan Zone at Fosterville which is one of the richest gold deposits on the planet averaged 60 g/t over widths between 2 meters and 5 meters for the most part. Yes some parts were wider and some more narrow but it averaged between 2 and 5 meters. And that was the best year they had in which they averaged that very high grade. The grade has since dropped off considerably to an average grade of less than 30 g/t. Keep in mind that anything above 10 g/t is considered high grade gold in the mining business. That gives investors a good idea of the quality of this Queensway property. This is truly a special once in a lifetime gold discovery. Once mining begins this will be a license to print money.
So they are calling this Tuesday Zone a new zone but it looks to be connected to the Sunday Zone or very close to it. I believe these zones are right on the Appleton Fault itself by the looks of it. This gold system is absolutely incredible. Extremely high grade gold. To be finding this much visible gold so early in an exploration program is amazing. I'm not sure what is wrong with the stock but I am very impressed with what I am seeing with the geology of this huge structure that cuts through the entire 100 km plus long property. Wow is all I can say.
Eventually NFG shareholders will be well rewarded. I don't know when that will happen but New Found Gold definitely has the goods. Great job by the NFG team. They are making so many new discoveries of extremely high grade gold over mineable widths that it is difficult to keep up with it all. I think they will have a surprise for us further south near the TCH and Knob Zones. I can't wait for us to hear back on all the drilling in that area. Let's face it guys. With 12 drills turning around the clock we could hit one out of the park at anytime. There is so much visible gold it is absolutely crazy!!!
I stand corrected since it looks like the Tuesday and Sunday Zones are offset a little from the Appleton Fault but it certainly appears that they are connected only being 80 meters apart. What an exciting gold discovery this is becoming. So this new discovery must be a little north of the Lotto Zone or perhaps more to the northwest. So difficult to keep it all straight. I need to take more time later in the day and study it in greater detail. Buy NFG shares and lock them away in a fault because some day they will be worth a whole lot of money.
