~20km of Battery Metals in Quebec That is what we have. With road access and hydro power lines in the Victoria Structure at Surimeau, in Quebec. That is part of today's press release, linked below. But, let's not forget last week's press release, we can aggregate that to today's news. So Lalonde is starting out with more than 2kms of battery metals strike, only ~3.7km north of the ~20kms Victoria Structure. And Lalonde may continue to grow. But that is where we are today. ~20 + ~2 kms of battery minerals, in a nascent industrial revolution as we pivot to the storage of energy, along with the build out of batteries, EVs, passive energy collection equipment, the building, rebuilding and upgrading of the infrastructure needed to charge all the batteries and carry electricity to them....brave new world indeed. And that needs metals we have. Lots and Lots of metal. Another wee bit of info in today's release? The Calc-silicate mineralization, which when seen in drilling delivered grades we like, was seen on surface. That is important, or exciting. Why? Well, in one spot we we have on surface what we saw in drill core at a vertical depth of ~200m. Amazing consistency. Consistency is Exciting! (at least in mining). Also part of the magic of base (or battery) metals like we have. The mineralized package being consistently present will one day make the accountants who run mines, and the engineers who block them out and schedule them, happy. One day. So - we continue to wait. Perhaps we will not have to wait an entire million years however waiting we are for our eagerly anticipated assay results. They will come, we are confident as we can see the mineralization. |
