Obsidian Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based exploration and production company. Its Cardium asset is a fully delineated and de-risked asset. It is focused on manufacturing repeatable low-decline and high-netback light-oil wells across its Cardium land base. The Viking is a light oil, horizontal development play located in central Alberta. Its operations are focused on the Esther area. Peace River is a stable, cold-flow, base production asset. It operates on a contiguous and an acreage within the heart of the Peace River Oilsands region.

They report a decline rate of about 20 ish percent

It follows they will need 7500 new boe to maintain production

However the decline rate will be higher given the rapid growth rate It will be dependant on how much of the new growth comes from low decline peace river and pembena vs the rest

They may need 9000 ish new BOE to maintain

260-270m would probably be sufficient to maintain production and show some growth
