Athabasca Oil Corporation (AOC) is a Canadian energy company with a focused strategy on the development of thermal and light oil assets. AOC’s segments include Light Oil and Thermal Oil. The Thermal Oil segment includes the Company’s assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of bitumen from sand and carbonate rock formations located in the Athabasca region of Northern Alberta. It also consists of two operating oil sands steam assisted gravity drainage projects and a resource base of exploration areas in the Athabasca region of northeastern Alberta. The Light Oil segment includes its assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of light crude oil and medium crude oil, tight oil and conventional natural gas. Its Light Oil segment consists exclusively of the Duvernay in the Greater Kaybob area with about 155,000 gross acres across Kaybob West, Kaybob North, Kaybob East and Two Creeks.

RE:RE:RE:5$ Yawn ,are we there yetHistory lesson, equinor, the geniuses behind the bazillions the Norwegians invest from their oil profits, decided to bow to social pressures and "leave the sands". In January of 2021. They sold 100 million shares of ATH at 18 cents. Eric nuttal bought half. Never found out who bought the other half. That was the worst trade I've seen since I started investing in 1978. Well maybe not, I forget sh!t. Point is, when idiots are climbing over each other making financial decisions, for non financial reasons, do the opposite, run away, don't follow them over the cliff.

I get it, the price of oil and all of the rest supporting arguments against the fact that all big internationals are leaving the sands. I hope that you are right. I had that thought but the heavy bitumen keeps weighing in. One way or the other, i chose to be here and hold for the $5 and evaluate. All the best.
