Comparing VGCX to Newmont is very simple: to be a leader in any field you have to lead by example. Newomont got to where they are by being transparent, honest, consistent and leading by example. I would love to use the same superlatives for VGCX management, but I can't!
I never read about "Murphy" as an excuse in any of Newmont's presentations or quarterly reports (and I have been reading them for a long time - I am quite familiar with this company....). I never saw Newmont lying or misleading their investors - this is why they got to where they are!
Delaying Q1 results only because they can do it without being in default (taking advantage of the current situation) is not leading by example.
This is just a small example to highlight their poor leadership - I will make a point to outline every mistake they make going forward. I hope they better themselves and don't make any mistakes!
Why am I doing that? To help them understand trust is not gained by playing those kind of games. And I hope one day VGCX will be that company of choice investors will be looking for, because of strong and honest management team along with delivering solid and consistent results.
To think I have an "agenda" and I am looking to lower the stock price is laughable. No matter what I say here, the stock price will not move up or down. To even think posting things that are true but not necessarily positive to lower the stock price is an "interesting" perspective, I never thought about that. I know what moves a stock price are sell and buy orders not this...
I know when to get in and when to get out of this stock, believe me. And I don't make those decisions based on what I read here.
Let me ask you: Would you prefer to see VGCX doing things the way Newmont does or do you want to see them conducting themselves the same way they did since they secured financing? The choice is yours to make.
Goodl luck.
