My use of fizzle seems to have struck a nerve since you responded to 3 threads. Relax, no one is attacking the SALT stock. Of course we know that we are waiting on the FS to give more support to where this share price will go and most of us are pretty sure it's going up. We may differ on how high we expect it to go but that's a different conversation.

My response (and Canticles earlier) is directly related to queries as to why the stock price would go from a high of $4.48 to a rare low ($2.99 as I type), especially knowing that a spin-out was happening ( most likely) within 3 weeks. So, what happened in the last week or so to cause that? It's likely that some holders thought something more solid would have come out of the meetings last week that directly related to SALT or TPR. Maybe something else? I'm not sure but one thing for sure is that a price drop like that (in the short term) is a fizzle. Do we all expect it to come back and go well beyond? Sure, but that doesn't help explain to someone why this big dip before the spin-out.

However, if you don't agree with me...what do you see as a possible reason for the drop from $4.48 to $2.99 over the last 1 1/2 weeks?
