Reply to Krugman's 10 star post & others!Since no one really wanted to challenge me or debate me on the merit of investing in DM (as per my last post) or the justification of the viability for DM as a credible investment, i'm going to be forced to go on the attack again here, and target your most precious (but suspect!) of posters & commentary on this forum. Didn't want to take this route, but since you guys don't want to engage me but rather prefer to keep "the pump alive" by constant cheerleading without opposition and pushing that "thumbs up" button at will at any thing that puts DM the Trixster into a good light. So be it, sorry Mr. Krugman, nothing personal just business.
So......10 STARS!!! Wow, didn't see that coming on this forum lol (NOT!!!). Seems you guys are just grasping at straws right now, coming up for some breathable air for anyting to hang on to trying not to drown in this market, especially with regards to DM's dismal performance here. Which in reality should not come to a surprise to anyone competent here. So......lets tacke Mr. Krugman's 10 STAR post shall we? I'll dissect it with surgical precision, so guys don't misunderstand my message.

I'll just rephrase this statement a little bit by stating it in this fashion,"Most people who have expressed their frustration here are those that don't understand what type of company or investment DM is" which imo is a more accurate reflection of the situation of the mentality of DM investors. Once folks undestand this a a life style company/stock, only then will you finally get what you've gotten yourselves into.
"Before buying shares in a company, it is important to know which phase a company is currently in..
I'll rephrase this again, to better undrestand what you guys invested in "Before buying shares in a company, it is important to know ALL the risks the company currently carries". At the beginning, whatever investment you consider, ONLY that matters & nothing else. The so called phases you mention are only a secondary consideration and shouldn't be the main concern. And talking about those "phases", leads me to my next comments.....
"is the company still building its foundation? or it is in the expansion phase? When companies are still in the foundation/ investment stage, they usually use a lot of money investing in projects."
So what you're trying to tell us here is that DM is still in the "building it's foundation phase" and should expect some risk & volatility? After almost 10 years, you think this is still in "building it;s foundation phase"? To each his own if you really believe that and good luck trying to convince or sell that to any experienced, smart & competent investor. But you should have no problem grabbing a few fishes with that slogan on here. Mr. Krugman, please understand that there are NO phases here, just a long list of "pivots" & opportunism". It's a lifestyle stock where the main intention here is to sell stock to unsuspecting investors, this is where the money is made. That & exploiting the benefits of being a publicly traded entity, like stock options. This is the true purpose of these compnanies that are set up as "lifestyle" bogus companies.
"If some of the projects are completed, they are usually in the marketing phase and no significant revenue can be expected from them. When you understand this...you will not expect to see massive gains or financial reports from companies like DM which are in their foundation phase."
I don't think you fully grasp what's happening here with these lifestyle stocks. And i'm not only targeting DM with this label, the TSX venture & CSE are FULL of companies like this. Companies being setup as lifestyle corporations which will never amount to anything, they're just fronts for tax purposes and to exploit the benefits of having the privelge of being a publicly traded entity. Like stock options & being able to raise free money at will from the investing public. Nothing will ever be completed here in term of projects, just a slew of "pivots" to the latest fads or trends where the maximum monetary value can be extracted as quickly as possible. DM isn't alone in this dubious endeavor, the Canadian penny stock landscape if full of companies like this. Odds are against you that you actually find a decent, investable company which has the most noable of intentions and actually wants to buildout a real profitable solid business.
"If you want big earnings and massive financial reports, you might consider buying Tesla, amazon, FB, and others which are quite expensive because they have already laid a foundation for a steady income."
You see, this is the problem with investing & investors. This type of false thinking or twisted mentality. Everything is a question of perspective and it does not mean that if a stock is trading at $100 is it expensive and one that's at 0.10 it's cheap. On the contrary, it might be that exct opposite, if you truly delve into it.
Take your own example, Tesla, for starters. trading at almost $300 with a MC of almost 1T. Is that cheap for a company that has a literal monoploy in the EV space, a GLOBAL market share of nealy 50% and a p/e of 75? Well if you compare that with DM's situation, they don't have an actual monopoly in anything or leaders in any segement of any market they're operating in. As for numbers, going by the latest qtr and assuming an indentical performance for the future, the company might be able to pull in about $1M per qtr in profit, not taking i into account non cash items of course. So that would be about $4M or barely 0.01 in eps or 10X pe. One would think that DM is a bargain here, but that's the problem, it's not! Because the market is always forward looking and takes other critical things into consideration like not running out of money & their abiliity to keep up those numbers. Same goes for the other examples you mention, like Amazon & FB. These are bad examples to compare DM to, all those companies are enormous & have very different business models & are literal monopolies on their respective businesses.
That's all i have to say on this subject.....for now. Mr. Krugman's post does not deserve 10 stars but i understand why it has gotten those votes on this forum. This is why new investors should navigate these boards with caution & be very careful WHO they listen to.
On another side note, we have our dear old Mr Oden6570 or should i say Loki6570 who's up to his old tricks again and trying to pump some more garbage on this forum, with the following post.
Oden6570 wrote"
Another Canadian Gem ! Do your own DD !Many EV lovers posting here so it seems. I thought I would share this oppurtunity with you."
What's wrong Oden, you didn't lose enough money with DM and those that followed your advice that you want to lose more by trying to pedle more trash like HPQ? Shame on you sir! Instead of helping folks with good investments, you're trying to sell them snakeoil so when they actually buy this garbage, you can profit from it & unload your entire position for a few pennies more.
A word of advice my friends. First, Mr. Oden aka Loki has showed that he cannot be trusted and fails completely at providing ANY decent investment counsel. Second, his "investment tip" which he probably got in the bakc of crackerjack box or from a Indian call center scammer is total junk and folks should even consider it. Just the fact it's based in that Easterm province of CueBec is already bad enough for starters. A place where much of the scams, frauds & total garbage invesments originate from. So unless you're in the market for soggy french fries or cheap strippers & hydro energy .......don't even bother. Best to put Oden on ignore just for mentioning such trash to anyone.
If people want to gamble & are ready to lose their cash, then at least invest in something that has some chance of succeeding. A good, cheap but still speculative investment would be the Uranium sector. As i've been harping for sometime here, that space will be your best bet for the next 12 months. Forget about DM or that even worse trash HPQ, you will only more monies ontop of what you've currently lost here.
