RE:RE:So Ironic ….

RE:RE:So Ironic ….Puma....do you believe a CEO who says they can handle a recession?   I have bought tv ads nationally for 20 years....They cannot handle a recession anymore than a CTV or others...In fact they are worse off than CTV...lets be honest....i gave a simple explanation in posts over the past 2 years....Recessions effect ad budgets....they get CUT....Then rates fall....its been that way since the beginning of time....What is Corus meaning saying they will handle it okay?  We are only in the first inning of a economic slowdown....I have yet to see one poster on this board....say....Ad rates will go up in a economic slowdown?  Not one....you guys say stuff like the Company says??????  What world are you living in....Anyhow....i posted two weeks ago....look out....i posted that TD analyst  Valenti in a conflict of interest months ago.....As they are in a business relationship with Corus and his historic targets are never met....never.....So the warning that incomes will be light........Is of course correct,,,,i made the 3 dollar call weeks ago....Now saying that....the TV industry sales are pretty good...its still the most economic media to gain brand awareness.....in the 50 plus age group....And dont try and say TV is efficient in the lower demographis.....but 75% of all viewing hours tuned are 50 plus.....And thats alot of us......But cord cutting is out their.....Good news is advertisers like me will get lower rates..
