Greening of the gridGreen hydrogen is one thing. The premier of Nova Scotia is looking for more domestic renewable energy options, rather than being depend on the Atlantic Loop proposal. Phase out coal powered electricity generation. Plus more issues to deal with.
If Northland proposes a windfarm, it's not only for green hydrogen, but the province as a whole. I think all this idea of greening the provincial grid was in the minds of people well before any visitors from Germany came proposing in effect, a new industry.
Maybe a offshore wind industry could be developed in the province. Turbines built or assembled in the province, funding of research/education into hydrogen/ammonia marine applications, etc. A more holistiic approach which Northland has experience with.
