RE:LandlockedActually the LNG (Shell) facility at Kitamat is all electric with the power coming from the site C hydrp-electric project on the Peace River so no carbon footprint . Even the pipeline compressers are electric .

I expect little news, but perhaps some new observations. Brad Wall thinks the provincial premiers should get the ball rolling. A (false) dilemma is this: Canada will spend more carbon to compress NG into LNG, while the good side is that LNG will replace dirtier carbons in Europe where they burn coal and so to generate heat and electricity.
Seems to me that Canada would reap enormous financial benefits to grow millions of trees for instance to alleviate the emissions. (And help us as investors!!).
