You're right about the costs though. JJ's hiring mission has been absolutely insane. Something close to 200 people between Toronto, Montreal and China need their bi-weekly pay stubs now. Assuming an average salary of $60K for these mostly high tech, management and sales comp jobs, that's a million a month just in salaries. The worst thing that can happen to the company right now is the need to lay off people they just hired to preserve cash. They need to get this financing done, they need to get it done now price be damned, and guys like me are salivating waiting for it to drop into our laps.
