Tomas Vidal RodriguezOctober 15, 2022 San Juan de la Maguana.- The environmentalist Luis Carvajal affirmed that he opposes the exploitation of the Los Romeros mining deposit in San Juan de la Maguana, by the company Gold Quest. But, he recognized that the proposal made by that company to run underground will cause less damage to the environment and would produce a good economic impact for the region. Carvajal, spoke in an interview on the Primera Plana program, saying that underground or underground mining is the least polluting method than any other.
