CanaanR wrote: Gord, good reply , but you are preaching to the converted. No question you haven't lost anything on EIT but I have. Eit is my oldest investment in my portfolio and l have traded mant times , I am a day trader and lost many times due to market fluctuations. I have owned as many as 5 shares or so now only 2 . bad  timing on my part. I bought DBM at $10.00 and CHE.UN at $16.00. My last post asked what was your bullet proof portfolio , your answer only EIT so I guess you are all invested in one single ETF. As l said each to their own. Now you talk about past history, I went "all in" on VET at $39.00 only to sell it at $9.00. I only bought FTN a few months ago and have added, now about 6 shares, and l know what l am getting , especially with those dive reinvested. If you thought that EIT , remember l own as well was the be all and end all , then l doubt you would be bothered with this board as most of your posts in the past confined themselves to the EIT board. In no way is this intended in any form of disrespect , just as l suggested to you in the past , There is more than one alternative to achieve your investing goals. Now Cheers Now l will continue to hold my free EIT getting a 9% dividend and enjoy.
