Why the poor reaction to oil and gas?

Why the poor reaction to oil and gas?I must say that I am surprised and baffled at the response to the jump in oil and gas prices by the markets on Friday. Oil up 4.43 to 92.60 and Nat gas up.484 to 6.46,both huge daily moves!
However the price of most oil and gas stocks did nothing, up a bit or down a bit. Even Eric's fund was down on the day?
I can't remember seeing such a poor reaction to such very large positive oil and gas price jumps!
Was it because it was Friday? Is there any logical reason to think that oil prices are going to fall back hard on Monday? Could tax selling season be starting early?
If there is a logical reason for this happening, I would appreciate hearing it for anyone!
thanks
Rico
