riocan's yield is ~5% and my most expensive tranche of leverage is at prime (~6%). therefore, that capital, which used to passivley print money, now costs me "rent" on a marginal basis. being risk adverse, it made more sense for me to sell and pay down leverage, thus increasing my passive monthly income, take profit, and derisk my levered real estate portfolio.
just patiently sitting and waiting for hr earnings.
