RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What energy mix can limit emissions and keep the lights on?That is the first time I've heard Klaus Schwab. I'm not a fan of some orchestrated great re-set but do agree that changes to the status quo are needed and are coming. I do believe the planet is dangerously warming due to modern human activities and scientists have known this for many years and have been issuing warnings. These for the most part have gone unheeded by governments, industry and individuals worldwide. Meanwhile the planet gets increasingly warmer and is approaching a tipping point by 2050, the year scientists have forecast for all sorts of ecological disasters. If we want to wait until then and some Pearl Harbour like climate event forces our hand then the cost will be astronomical. If we wisely and pre-emptively and willingly start to heed the scientific warnings and begin making significant changes to the status quo the cost in money and lives and property damage will be much much less.
