Korea &Canada hold ministerial talks on industry cooperation

Korea &Canada hold ministerial talks on industry cooperationThe Korea Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy has specifically included cobalt in their Press Release.

the Ministers have decided to kick their collaboration into high gear across the “critical minerals and materials- secondary batteries-EVs” value chain.
Accordingly, an intergovernmental critical minerals supply chain memorandum of understanding (MOU) is to swiftly follow the one signed among companies in September.
While bilateral trade has centered on bituminous coal, iron ore and such all-purpose minerals until now, the plan is to build a win-win relationship by expanding the future trade scope to nickel, cobalt and other critical minerals.
