RE:RE:Toward a Natural Gas OpecMr Socks is right, There is no strong business case for LNG in Canada. That's because of his horrendous bureaucratic red tape to get anything done here . That is because of natives and their woke white friends who will fight tooth and nail to shut down any pipeline . You know , the natives who have shockingly epidemic rates of diabetes , drug and alcohol addiction , STD's and beating their women . Well my goodness, a pipeline is DANGEROUS! That's where they draw the line on perceived danger. Canada will miss out on billions of dollars of income which will go to poo hole countries and nasty dangeorus dictatorships and the world will burn anyways. You cannot save a sinking ship by plugging one hole out of a hundred. Ending supply in your samll country does nothing about the demand in the rest of the world. He just can't grasp that concept through his thick dyslexic stuttering cranium.

Gazprom is now facing lawsuits from buyers in Germany and Italy and will be paying tens of billions under arbitrage rules. If not, Germany for instance can, confiscate its many assets in the country.
While Russian propaganda telling jokes about Europe freezing, EU managed to fill its storage and at some point about a month ago spot LNG prices were negative but tankers were waiting and probably unloading now as winter has started and there is room in the storage.
The U.S., Trinidad, Qatar and others are or will be shipping LNG to Europe who is rapidly expanding its import facilities. Everyone but gas rich Canada. On a recent visit to Canada, the German Chancellor was told that there is no strong business case for exporting LNG. The "renowned" businessman Trudeau has promised none existing green Hydrogen instead, by 2050. So the Chancellor flew to Qatar and signed a contract. What a waste of time was visiting Canada.
