RE:RE:Good Timing..$3.8 Billion in Funding over 8 yearsDear Pip,
You say that AIDEA is not interested in Ucore.  How do you know?  Have you called and asked?  Found an article or statement by AIDEA saying that they are interested in funding Ucore?  Or are you just taking their inaction as all the prove you need with nothing to back it up?  You are talking about things that you don't know.  To get AIDEA funding Ucore has to ask for it.  In any of your going over back Press releases did you every find one that said that Ucore had applied for AIDEA funding?  Would AIDEA want prove that RSX worked, most likely.  That would be the smart thing to do before you loan many million of dollars.  Would they make it a requirement for the loan.  I have seen requirements like that in Naval contracts.  So to say that AIDEA is not interested the Demo has to be running and the board of AIDEA would put out a press release.  But it is AIDEA job to get business into Ketchakan.  Even if RSX is just a little faster but greener, I don't see AIDEA turning them away.  Not with RJ being a big fish in the Ketchakan area.  It is like it is stated.  Ketchakan and AIDEA got put on the back burner because of time.  If Ucore build a SMC in Ketchakan then they lose a year building the building.  Green site remember.  Where as LA has empty buildings that can be used to get into production one year sooner.  You keep harping about funding and I agree with you up to a point.  Yes, funding is needed and the kind of funding like grants would be the funding most needed.  You act like it can't happen only because it has not happen in the past.  Everybody wants to prove that the new system is faster, smaller, cheaper and greener before then throw money at it.  Look what happen with other REE companies.  MP and that billion dollar separation plant that did not work and needed the chinese to get it working for the 90% separation but needed to send to China to finish.  That has always sounded so wrong to me.  Like they were setup to fail.
So once the Demo plant is up and running and Ucore has applied to AIDEA for funding and been turned down do you get to say I told you so.
Until then cool your jets.  There are too many governments and companies wanting to fund REE separation for Ucore not to get funding once they prove that it works.  They just have to prove it.
On a side note, grandson may have found a studeo in need of repair and been standing empty.  The kid is a roofer and the repair is what he does.  It gets him a place to stay at a good rate.
