The final Russian oil loaded prior to 5 December will take serveral weeks to work it way through the system to be consummed.

Oil flows from Russia and increased Gulf State oil after 5 December are being redirected to Asia to fuel China, India and other states.  China has relaxed COVID restriction, institute quantative easing and other polices to stimulate economic growth.  India's economy is surging with GDP at 6.3% and inflation of just 5.88%.

All of this shift  will take place over the next several weeks after which the real impact of Russian oil sanctions will weigh on the price of oil.
