RE: BBD's Recruitment event in Toronto Dec 14

RE: BBD's Recruitment event in Toronto Dec 14This is an attempt to get some of those skilled workers that previously worked on the Q400 at Downsview (which is closing next year).  They were put out of work thanks to Unifor's Jerry Dias allowing Longview Avation/New De Havilland to take over without having plant closure language in the contract when the Q400 was sold to Longveiw (and the Downsview sale was already publicly announced).

Covid hit, and production paused (though they had no new orders for a year plus leading up to Covid). Giving Longview the escape route to leave Ontario and plan for production start up in Alberta.
