RE:Time for a break-out?They're doing alright, it's been an incredible run this year but TOU hasn't moved in 6 months. No idea what the share price does this winter, but their gas in storage and market diversification is likely bringing in plenty of cash at these prices.
I'm ok if it treads water and keeps paying the specials. I've been selling medium dated, out of the money puts for just after the special dividends go ex-div. The strike is adjusted lower by the amount of special dividend (so a $70 put becomes a $68 put) and I have gotten over $3 for the Feb 2023 (i'm apparently the entire volume on that option). If they do another $2 special that month, worst case my purchase price is ~$65. I'd take it: nice place to park some cash on dips.
