True North Commercial Real Estate Investment Trust (the REIT) is a Canada-based unincorporated, open-ended real estate investment trust. The REIT is primarily focused on creating value for unitholders through the investment in and ownership of commercial properties in Canada. The REIT’s primary objective is to maximize total returns to its unitholders. Its returns include a stable, reliable, and tax-efficient monthly cash distribution as well as long-term appreciation in the value of its units through the effective management of a portfolio of commercial properties. RE:RE:Dividend cut coming ?This is true as a snapshot of Q3 2022, but looking at 2022 YTD the income is $43M, compared to distributions of $41M. The payout ratio is still under 100% overall and to me it doesn't look like an urgent divident cut is needed. It'll depend how long the higher interest rates will last in my view. The stock has already been beat as if a dividend cut had occurred.
