Boeing 737, landings gears are made by RTX - Collins out of Oakville ON, CAE out of Quebec makes the flight Sim that will be acquired for training, Honeywell Canada makes many of the electronic warfare equipment along with RTX in Midland ON with alot of high tech avionics used in Boeing Posedian. Bombardier is only providing Green fuselage of a global jet. And most of the Global components are made outside of Canada.
Boeing platform are used by many more Nato allies then Bombardier product. Boeing frame is based on proven 737 -700/800 platform, there parts are dime a dozzen and cheap and quick to acquire then Bombardier. Boeing life cycle cost is lower. Boeing has stronger case of industrial offset. Just my 2 cents.

- you raise great points here and we all know that the govts will pick and choose the reasons for giving out those contracts , to one the other ... botton line is the bomber has equal , if not better products ( and getting better/cheaper) AND those suppliers you mentioned for Boeing are used by the bomber also ... Boeing made their mistakes with the Cseries and they will lose the sales to the bomber , this is just window dressing ... time will tell , but my money is on the bomber getting some good military work in the very near futur ...
